Mr. Harvey Lee Chambers Jr, beloved son of Sara Jane and Harvey Lee Chambers Sr, was born in
Statesville, NC on July 22, 1936. He peacefully entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 31, 2018, at the Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, NC following a lengthy illness.
He was a devoted member of Highland Acres Church of Christ. He was married to Lois Maxine Scott Chambers, who preceded him in death
He leaves to cherish the memory of his life his four sons, Donald (Lori) Chambers of Cary, NC, Joseph Chambers, Kivett (Latisha) Chambers and Shawn (Shameka) Chambers, all of Statesville, NC; two daughters Thomasine L. Chambers and Sandra J. Chambers, both of Statesville, NC; his two adopted children James (Jené) Chambers of Charlotte, NC and Natika LaShae Chambers of Statesville, NC; A sister Mary Lois Chambers-Jones of Chapel Hill, NC; Ten grandchildren; Fourteen great grandchildren; Two god daughters, Pearlene Harris and Avril Chambers, both of Statesville, NC; a special niece, Darletha Daye. Also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
