Obituary for Mary Lois Lindsay (Clark)

Mary Lois Clark Lindsay, 63, of 120 South Meeting Street, passed away at Maple Leaf Health Care Center on Thursday, November 8, 2018, following an extended illness. She was born in Iredell County on July 27, 1955, and was the daughter of Blanche Mary Hamilton Parker and the late David Johnathan Clark. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald H. Hamilton and Donald Calvin Clark and one sister, Beverly LaJune Clark.
She attended Statesville City Schools and was a member of Third Creek Baptist Church in Stony Point.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two brothers, Phillip S. (Belinda) Hamilton of Concord and Ronald M. (Tonia) Clark of Statesville; one sister, Geraldine Lazenby of Baltimore, Maryland; a step sister, Cynthia (Jerry) Gillespie of Stony Point; two aunt, Juanita (Bishop Joe) Gray of Woodleaf and Henrietta Gray of Statesville, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life Services will be conducted Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at Third Creek Baptist Church in Stony Point. Reverend Tommy Carpenter will officiate. Members of the family will receive friends at the church from 12:30 until 1:00 p.m., but will assemble at the residence of her brother , Ronald (Tonia) Clark, 415 Hill Street, at other times.
