Mrs. Mary Angline Holland Ramseur, 90, of 204 McAllister Road, Statesville, passed away at her residence following an extended illness. She was born in Iredell County on April 24, 1928, and was the daughter of the late Lewis and Elizabth Alexander Holland, She was married to Rodney Ramseur, Jr., who survives. She was preceded in death by a son, James Rodney Ramseur, a grandson, Isaiah Ramseur, two brothers, Frances George Holland and William Holland and three sisters, Lottie Turner, Esther Holland and Mary Lois Graham.

She attended the Iredell County Schools and was a lifelong member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church, where she served as a member of the Usher Board, the Choir, served as a Sunday School Teacher and was also a Deaconess.
In addition to her husband, Rodney, she leaves to cherish the memory of her life, three sons, Robert Lewis (Lorna) Ramseur of Statesville, Donald Edward (Debbie) Ramseur of Lathonia, Georgia and William Andrew Ramseur, Sr. of the home; three daughters, Elizabeth Ann Ramseur, Mary Frances (William) Tatum and Carol Elaine Ramseur, all of Decatur, Georgia; three brothers, Jimmy Lewis Holland, Jerry (Orin) Holland and Henry Lewis Holland, all of Statesville; four sisters, Dorothy White, Juanita Gaither, Ruth Turner and Lillian Holland, all of Statesville; one brother-in-law, Shirley (Mildred) Ramseur of Statesville; three sisters-in-law, Lottie Chambers, Blondean Ramseur and Betty James; all of Harmony; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, a special niece, Joyce (Donald) Breedlove of Statesville; other relatives, church family and friends.
