We the Silas and Vinnie Mattox Family Reunion Committee, wishes too extend our most heartfelt and deepest sympathy to the family of Hatchet (Hassie) Rucker. We know that God never makes a mistake and it is in him that we believe and trust that one day we shall see his face. Hassie was one that loved his family and enjoyed every visit from each of them, especially those from Georgia. To his wife, Martha Ann, sisters Ida Ruth and Minnie Lee, children and grandchildren know that we mourn with you during this time and our hearts are broken konwing that Hassie has gone from this walk of life but we know that he's is with the Heavenly father and he is doing just fine. It is our prayers that God will continue to be you each and every pasisng day. The Silas and Vinnie Mattox Reunion Committee Robert A. Mattox, President

We the descendants of Tinney and Judy (Highsmith) Rucker, are sadden too hear of the passing of cousin Hatchet (Hassie) Rucker. Our hearts are heavy and filled with sorrow knowing that his address has been moved from Statesville, NC but we rejoice in knowing that his new address is somewhere around God's throne. To his wife, sisters, children and grandchildren continue to hold God's unchanging hands. The days will seem long and hard but through Christ you will make, weeping may endure for a night but joy will come in the morning.
