God strengthens us by giving us "the power beyond what is normal" to make it through each passing day. Psalm 46:1 says: "God is our refuge and strength, a help that is readily found in times of distress." Nahum 1:7; God is "a stronghold in the day of distress. He is mindful of ["takes care of"] those seeking refuge in him."

I am so sorry about the passing of Spike. He was a committed and hard working member of IMPACT, Inc., and was a joy to be around. I am traveling and unable to attend his service, but your family is in my thoughts and prayers! May God grant you a special blessing of strength, courage and faith to endure this most difficult time.
