Nelda and The Imes Family, A memory, when we all lived in Far Rockaway, NY, I remember Aunt Vivian, Aunt Beulah and my mother, Raynelle, going out on a Saturday evening in the summertime, probably for dinner. They were all coiffed beautifully and dressed in white bell-bottom pants. Your Mother was wearing a lime green top with large white polka dots, Beulah's was lemon yellow and my Mother's a coral orange. They were true Southern Beauties and loved each dearly. They left going through the gates of the complex and on to the street. As we watched them from the window, A bunch of young men started to whistle and one yelled "The Supremes" and he wanted Florence Ballard (Beulah) We called them "The Supremes" from then on. The (real) Supremes once sung, "Someday We'll Be together." Well, they are all together again and can you imagine how that reunion went and is probably still going? I hope this little memory has made you smile. Our love goes out to you on this sad occasion, Mike, Butch and Thom
