Mrs. Delores Daniels Leach, was born in Iredell County on November 11, 1957, and was the daughter of the late Thomas Lee Daniels and Azalee Janice Davidson Brown. She entered into eternal rest on Sunday, March 31, 2019, at Iredell Memorial Hospital.
Delores attended Statesville High School and worked at Thonet Furniture Factory as a machine operator in Quality Control. She will truly be missed. In addition to her parents, Thomas Lee Daniels and Azalee Janice Davidson Brown, she was preceded in death by brothers, Tommy Daniels, and Bishop Harvey Daniels.
She leaves to cherish the memories of her life, four sons, Christopher (Kimberly) Frazier, Markus Londale (Shannon) Leach, Kerry Mardale (Michelle) Leach and Derrise Frazier, all of Statesville; six brothers, Marshall Brown, Timmy Brown, Michael Brown, Russell Brown, Dwayne (Dana) Brown and Harvis (Hattie) Mathis; four sisters, Edith Pettigue, Betty Mathis, Beverly Mae Ramseur, and Melissa (Frank) Cauthen; special sisters, Anita Gray, Janice Daniels and Freda Harrison; a brother-in-law, Edward (Deborah) Nichols; five sisters-in-law, Overseer Georgia Daniels, Eva McWillis, Edith Jean Dobbins, Shirley Ann Feimster, and Bonnie Muse; seven grandchildren, Chris Jr., Tatyana, A.J. Imani, Nia, Jakeaya and Kyndall; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, including a special cousin, Elder Christopher (Galley) Daniels; seven aunts, Mary Davidson, Ruth Lackey, Dollietha Daniels, Betty Morrison, Louise Daniels, Belinda Daniels, and Mary Jean (Dr. Lonnie) Gray; one uncle, Larry Daniels; the Scott Chapel United Methodist Church Family, other relatives, and friends
Celebration of Life Services will be conducted on April 7, 2019, at Christian Outreach of the Piedmont, Inc.. The body will lie in state at 2:00 pm and members of the family will receive friends at the church from 2:30-3:00 pm. Pastor Lisa Moore, Scott's Chapel United Methodist Church, will do the eulogy. Elder Christopher Daniels will officiate. Burial will follow in the Belmont Cemetery. The family will assemble at the residence of 200 Forest Hollow Drive, Statesville.
