Mr. Howard “Head” Feimster, Jr., 104 Tweety Lane, Statesville, passed away at the Gordon Hospice House in Statesville on Tuesday, May, 21, 2019, following an extended illness. He was born in Iredell County on December 2, 1942, and was the son of the late Howard Feimster, Sr. and Ernestine Rucker Feimster. He was married to Shirley Ann Feimster, who survives. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Tory Harlan Feimster, a grandson, T. J. McKoy, a brother, Harold Eugene Feimster, Sr. and a sister, Shirley Feimster.

He was a graduate of Unity High School and was a Truck Driver with Carolina Freight/ABF Trucking Company.
Left to remember and celebrate his life, his wife, Shirley James Feimster of the home; three sons, Jerry (Sue) Leach of Clemons, Calvin Foote of Winston-Salem and Brian Feimster of Statesville; four daughters, Tina (Kenny Turner) Stevenson of the home; Cynthia Leach of Winston-Salem, Felicia (Ernest) McKoy of Statesville and Dawn Feimster of the home; two brothers, Tommy (Rozell) Feimster of Virginia Beach and Ronnie (Delores) Feimster of Raleigh; three sisters, Gloria Baldwin of Charlotte, Linda Lowery of Detroit, MI and Janice (Robert) Adams of Statesville; fourteen grandchildren including a special grandson,Tristian Rashad Feimster and a special granddaughter, Brianna Star Smoot; a special niece, Tia Lowery; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life Services will be conducted Friday, May 31, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Peter Baptist Church, Munday Road, Statesville, NC. Reverend Sterling Howard is Pastor and Revernd Pete Moore will officiate. Burial will follow in the Freedom Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Statesville, NC. Members of the family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., but will assemble at the residence at other times.
