Dennis was born in Philadelphia, Pa on June 8, 1949, and was the son of Guy Alexander and Nettie Strange Alexander. He attended the Philadelphia School System and was certified in HVAC – Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning and was a successful business owner of D and B Building and Maintenance where he retired. He served with the United States Army and was honorably discharged.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Alexander, Jr., his brothers and sisters, Elizabeth Alexander, Thomas Alexander, James (Betty) Alexander, and Keipus Alexander.
He leaves to cherish the memory of his life, his children, Ingrid Y. Alexander, Marayan Maurice (Ebony) Alexander, Rhea Camille Owens, Anna Massey; his step-son, Clarence Earl (Alica) Owens; his grandchildren, Asia Chance Hailey, Kayla Jazmine Fisher, Kenyatta “K.J” Fisher, Jr. and Julius Tyree Owens; his great grandchildren, Amare Ray West and Anaa Denise Hailey;his siblings, Dwight Alexander, Antonio (Theresa “D”) Alexander, Cornelius Alexander and Michael (Theresa) Alexander; Claudell (Patti) Alexander, William Alexander and Weder Alexander; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
