Mr. William Anthony Troublefield, 29, was born in Newburgh, New York on January 31, 1990, and was the son of James L. C. Troublefield and the late Lori Kramer Troublefield. He passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019, following an extended illness.

He was a graduate of East Rowan High School and attended Mitchell Community College. He participated in Meals on Wheels, Special Olympics and Day Program RHA. He was a member of Higher Ground Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Myrtle Clegg Troublefield; a sister, Ashley Troublefield and a brother, Matthew Troublefield.
He leaves to cherish the memory of his life his father, James L.C. Troublefield of Statesville; his step-mother, Tonya Dunlap Troublefield of Statesville; six brothers, Terry McNeill, Sr. and Maurice McNeill, both of Newburgh, New York, James (Angie) Troublefield, Jr. of Durham, Eric Jackson and Michael Jackson, both of Newburgh, New York and Bruce (Nicolette) Troublefield of Mooresville; seven sisters, Tamatha (Kenyatta Clegg) Willis of Concord, Pamela (Robert) Clark of Charlotte, Kelly Kramer of Newburgh, New York, Taprie (Wakeel) Campbell, Sekayi (Jaymie) Thomas, Na’Ja Edwards and Njeri Dunlap, all of Statesville; grandparents, Nathaniel and Joann Dunlap, both of Statesville; aunts, Florine Baynes of Raleigh, Joyce Reed, Virginia Kramer and Tracy Reed, all of Newburgh, New York, Sheila Rousseau, Doris Jones, Cassandra (Ross) Dunlap-Haberern and Natalie (David) Mott, all of Statesville and Alfreida Dunlap of Greensboro; uncles, Donald Reed and David Reed, both of New Burgh, New York, Alton Hall and Arthur Brunson, both of Middletown, New York, Rudolph (Nadine) Reed of McAllen, Texas, Nathaniel Dunlap, Jr. and Ryan Jones, both of Statesville, Shawn Jones of Springfield, Ma. and Diarra Dunlap of Imperial, Nebraska; a great uncle, Clarence Reed of Newburgh, New York; special aunts, “The Girls” of Fayetteville, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.

Celebration of Life Services will be conducted Saturday, August 17, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at The Rutledge and Bigham Funeral Home. Pastor John B. Mott will officiate. Members of the family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m., but will assemble at the residence of his father, James (Tonya) Troublefield, at other times.
