There is an open gate at the end of the road
Through which each must go alone
And there in a light we cannot see
Our Father claims His own.
Beyond the gate our loved one
Finds happiness and rest
And there is comfort in the thought
That a loving God knows best.

I can’t count the number of times I’ve heard my front door open, anytime day or night, I’d look up and it would be my friend sedd. Wether it was morning or afternoon driving to and from high school or the weekends where it seemed we would just walk everywhere we always had a good time. I can’t remember the man without a smile. It’s true people and friendships grow and evolve over time. I lost touch with sedd several times but we always seemed to find each other and just pick back up like it had only been a day. I remember the time we were swimming in the lake and he got stung in the nose by a bee. I’ve never seen anyone run so fast. I can’t count the number of bars, boat rides, or parties we had. I can’t count the times we all just sat and chilled or did some things we really shouldn’t have been doing. I lost my friend for a few years and he came back better, wiser, and stronger. I met him in this world as an energetic kid and I’m now seeing him leave this plain of existence as a good man. Good luck in your new journey I’m sure we will meet again.

Grew up with Sed && he was an amazing person! You had minor setbacks for a major comeback but you came back victorious! May God bless everyone close to you especially little Samiyah which was your pride && joy. I’ll miss that “What’s up Slim?” or you cracking a joke at all the right times... LONG LIVE SED!! Until we meet again youngin!

Soooooo many memories. Sed is/was my other brother although my lil cuz he was so inspirational and always had some words of advice or encouragement. I remember when we lived in Laurel 2003-2004 he used to walk all the way to my job at night just so I wouldn’t be walking alone at night or keep me occupied. “Man I miss my dawg” we had so much fun together when we came down he road in June time well spent a lot of good times and memories. Cherish memories.

You will be missed dearly. Your love was unconditional and irreplaceable. Your loyalty stood without wavering. Your presence and energy is so much greater than this world deserved. Sometimes there is nothing to understand, no words of comfort that can explain....
