Mary Frances Glover Harris, 79, of 417 Brookdale Dr., Statesville, departed this life on Saturday October 19, 2019. She was born in Iredell County on June 26, 1940 and was the daughter of the late James Dubois and Gladys Glover Pledger. She was married to Willie Edward Harris, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a son, Kevin L, Myers, five brothers, Rufus E. Glover, Robert Glover, James F. Glover, Rodney A. Glover and Samuel Pledger, Jr., and also five grandchildren, John Myers, Jr., David Wayne Summers, III, Kevin Caldwell, Tevin Stevenson and Elijah Parker,

She attended Morningside High School and was a former member of Mt. Calvary Holiness Church, where she served as an Evangelist and later joined Divine Ministry where she also served as an Evangelist and Mother of the Church.
She leaves to cherish the memory of her life, four sons, Reginald (Helen) Darty of San Francisco CA., Michael (Rosa) Glover, Jeffery Myers, and John Myers, all of Statesville; seven daughters, Betty Whren, Cindy Glover, Cynthia Glover, Pastor Tewanna Myers, Johna Myers, Vickey Connor and Karen (Richard) Scott, all of Statesville and Selena (Stacey) Harris of Cockeysville, MD., 40 grandchildren, five whom she raised, Chad (Danette) Glover, Shanika Glover, Princeton Summers, Ja´Kevin Harris and Doneisha Phelps; 65 great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Peggy Glover and Barbara Farley, both of Statesville and Sharon Glover of Vista CA., a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, including a special niece Sandra Roseboro and special cousins, the Farrer and Mathis Families, other relatives and friends, including special friends, Betty Jo Eckles, Mother Peggy Lackey, JoAnn Morrison, Betty Tate Barnes, Deana Burton and innumerable caring church family and friends.
