I was saddened to read of Maxine's passing. I haven't lived in Iredell since graduating from college, but I read of this in the on-line Record & Landmark. i grew up as a 4-H'er and knew her in her capacity at the Iredell "County Agent's Office" as we called it then. I also worked in that office as a summer job during college. I knew Maxine to be a lovely, bright and positive person. I always enjoyed her company. I knew she never married, and I'm grateful to know that she was cared for by her niece as time passed. My condolences to all the family members. Georgette McAuley, Villanova, PA
